Where is the corporate retreat venue located?
Waurn Ponds Estate, is situated on the sprawling grounds of Deakin University’s Waurn Ponds Campus. The Estate is conveniently located just 20 minutes’ drive from the heart of Geelong and is approximately an hour’s drive west of Melbourne. Located on Nicol Drive South, Waurn Ponds. From Pigdons Road, Waurn Ponds, take entrance 1 into Deakin University, turn left at the first round-a-bout, follow this road all the way to the very end until you reach the entrance to the Estate which will be on your right-hand side.
How many meeting rooms does the Estate have?
Designed to the highest standards, our estate offers an array of meticulously crafted meeting rooms, providing the perfect setting for your corporate retreat.
Our Estate has a total of 8 different meeting rooms, in addition to a variety of public spaces that can be utilised for less formal discussions and meetings on your business retreat.
Does the Estate offer catering for corporate retreats?
Yes. In fact, we pride ourselves on having a unique food culture that aims to escape from traditional mass produced food and focuses on encouraging interaction amongst corporate retreat guests. Choose from our feasting or shared menu options. Our menus incorporate the freshest flavours and produce to fit the season.

Does the Estate offer accommodation?
Yes. Our estate has 60 rooms each featuring exquisite bathrooms and a spacious king-size bed that are available for your corporate retreat. Twin share options available also.
What activities can the Estate offer?
With a full size tennis and basketball court on the grounds, groups can enjoy leisurely games or use the space for private PT sessions. We can also organise yoga on the lawn overlooking the lake, in room massages or you can take advantage of our heated outdoor infinity pool.
